Karla da Silva is a singer-songwriter belonging to the new generation of Musica Popular Brasileira (MPB).
ARCI TAVOLA TONDA, XILEMA MUSICA and QUINTAL – Laboratorio di Arte e Ricerca Partecipativa host her concert in Palermo. Karla, accompanied by guitarist Junior Castanheira, brings to the stage the sounds of the Afro-Brazilian Batuques of Candomblé, Bossa Nova and the Escolas de Samba of Rio de Janeiro, her hometown.
