Music, dance and video come together to show how climate change transforms practices, rhythms, memories and collective imaginaries. On stage, one of the most important performers of contemporary timbila.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The work grew out of research carried out within the Macua, Nyau and Chope communities, dedicated to documenting their cultural practices. The project investigates the strategies these peoples use to keep on existing and the impact of climate change on their ways of life, particularly in relation to food and spirituality. It also explores how climate alterations affect the timing of rituals or leave cultural and artistic traces in the villages. Are there new songs that speak of the tragedies caused by recent cyclones?
